A faculty survey was conducted and the following were nominated and accepted to server as the core to our DHS writing team:

Brent McGhie, Bill McCutchen, Barbara Little, Steve King, and Rachel Gwinnup (alt: Steve Brown)

January 26th:

The DHS Writing Team met for a full day of training at BCOE on January 26th. Instructions were given on the forms and process

required to submit our grant. If we complete our Grant by July 1, we will begin to receive funding in October 2000. Faculty

technology inventory, faculty technology proficiency, student technology proficiency, and technology preference surveys will

be conducted during the month of February. This information will be used as we complete our grant application. Your input is needed!

The next training meeting for the DHS writing team will take place on March 2, at Central Valley High School...in their library.

The following assignments were given:

Larry Staff Commitment vote on Thursday, February 10th
Members of the Team Brief overview of the DHS concept (5 minutes)

Members of the Team Review the entire grant packet.

Larry Following the February 10th faculty vote, if we have a
majority, ask DO to place on the next Board Agenda
the following wording:

"The OUHSD schoolboard certifies that a majority of the
certificated staff of Oroville High School indated their
support for participation in the Digital High School
Program." And the form is signed by Board President.
Form #DHS99-26"

Obtain a copy of the board minutes so signifying.

Larry Add DHS Partnership Meeting at the next site council.

Member DHS Larry See that members of business, community, parents,
post secondary institutions, BCOE are invited to attend.
Document the event as prescribed.
